The most important part of archaeology is publishing what we found. Archeological reports provide a record of what is excavated as well as the context in which the remains are found.

This project design refers to the Deserted Medieval Village at High Hunsley, East Yorkshire.

Interim Report High Hunley Excavations 2022

In July and August 2022, Ethos Heritage CIC carried out a large community archaeology on the site of the Deserted Medieval Villge of High Hunsley, East Yorkshire.

The interim report provides an overview of what was uncovered and what we have learnt so far about the site in our first year

This report looks at some of the history of Newport, and in particular the area of Sandholme Landing. History is studied from ancient through to modern times

It should be remembered that this is only a partial study and not comprehensive.
